Irene, I met you briefly in BWI on 13 Jul 10. Just wanted to apologize for thinking you were someone I was stationed with and not recognizing you for the great actress you are. Again, sorry for mistaken identity and I appreciate your pleasantness about the mix up.

Hello Irene,

I am not native american, I am white of german and british ancestory, but love, respect and admire all native american people. I love the movies you act and have acted in,you are a very tatlented actress. I have just seen the film Lakota Woman and even taped it on vhs. I am gonna watch and tape Naturally Native. i am also happy that native americans are going back to the old ways of thier ancestors. No one not even the goverment should tell your people or any race to stop being who they truly are. I am pagan/wiccan and have been for over 20 years. Wicca is a nature based religion that has some similarities as native american spirituality. We worship the 4 elements of nature, earth, air, fire, and water. Plus a goddess( moon) and god (sun). I hope all is well w/ you and yours. Blessed Be, RavenHorse (my pagan name).

Dear Irene-Could you please tell me how I can write to Valerie Red- Horse. My wife and I just watched, "Naturally Native" on TCM and loved it. All of you did such a great job. The reason that I would like to contact her is because my wife is the sister of the guy she dated in high school. in Fresno, Ca. for a couple of years. His name is David Greer,if you would like to let her know first. If possible, we would love to have a signed photo of all 3 of you from the movie. Please let me know if this will be possible. Thank you.

I am a big fan of yours and a teacher of many indiginous children lost in the school sytem... your figure, character, and films I have used repeatedly... bless you for your work. Love Quinn! and I was in NY state with Onondaga and Mohawk and now in the troubled state of Wyoming... so surprised that thw Wind River Res is to terribly isolated and troubled maybe even worse than other reses... so sad! Any advice ) due to my work at Grassroots in upstate NY. You are a combo Native American even with a tad "Metis" so just keep up your good work with Adam Beach, Chris Eyre and lots of GOVERNMENT FUNDS and the Park Foundation which funds Frontline and is headquarted in Ithaca, NY and is still half-headed by a very left-minded Adelaide Gomer (she is the daughter and funding persona of Roy Park) they fund Frontline and Independent Lens... so I shout out to you, your husband, and your friends to approach Park Foundation and in particular, Adelaide Park Gomer, to fund Native projects... trust me.. although I now live in Wyoming (I empower disempowerd adolescents to get their GEDS) but I am all about what I am telling you and have been doing so for decades.. the money with the Park Foundation is there... just tap into it.. I hate that the films are not more forthcoming... it is the least we can do for ALL of our children living in the US and that is coming from my own mind as a teacher.

Stumbled upon you yesterday at the Prairie Island Wacipi. Was so flabbergasted at seeing you sitting thee right before my eyes I froze, pulled my wife aside and told her who you are.
She's still busting a gut laughing at me for how " she says" melted at the sight of you.
Anyways, it was an honor to be in your presence and I wish nothing but good for you.
I don't know you personally but I'm told I have a gift and my gift tells me you are one truly special human.

I first heard your song Warrior of Love on www.ksfr.org Sat. 01/10/09 when producer and host Albert Cata played it on his radio live-streaming Native American Radio Live program. He interviews different Native Americans -and indengious peoples, like from Alaska , actors and actresses, singers, musicians, writers, artists, etc. He recently has interviewed Adam Beach, Gabriel Ayala, Shane Yellowbird, Jay Tavare, and will interview Rose Moore 03/28/09. His show is on 3-5p MT. He himself is Native American of Tewa and Seminole heritage, living in Ohkay Owinghey, NM. I just learned of his show at the end of December,2008.
Have you ever been interviewed by him?
Or would like to be? I am in contact with him regularly if you would like to be, I'm sure he'd like to do so. Have a great day and I'll await your answer. Blessings to you, Linda, an Irish fan

Dear Ms Bedard,
Hello from down under Australia.

I am sorry I used this website to contact you but I could not find a dedicated site for you & your work in Conservation & including Save Our Sacred Lands.

I work as the Production Manager for a large Community Radio Station - Radio Logan Inc; 101 FM, situated in South East Queensland -( South of Brisbane)- and one of our important projects is a dedication to the Animal Kingdom & Conservation.

The project is called Noah's Legacy and we are always interested in important individuals who fight for the planet & what happens globally as well as Nationally with Conservation of Animals and their habitats.
And that is why I want to make contact with you!
Even though your work in the Film Industry is certainly extraordinary and that is where I first saw you, "Into the West" I actually learned more about your other work just by discussing you amongst friends in the Fraternity of Animal Rights.
Once I began researching your life's work I found the real you as a Native American Indian who has stood up to be counted qan absolute blessing to the struggling Earth. Personally, I believe your wisdom & knowledge of the Earth is born unto you because you a part of a culture of people who respect every facet of life.
Your Spirit is in your work for the Earth, Humanity and all non- human species who inhabit this fragile planet and that is an essential importance for me to try and track you down for our project.

Would you ever be interested in being interviewed by us for our Noah's Legacy project in the future when we begin another round of interviews?

We are not ready yet but if you are interested I will need for correspondence and acqaintance in preparation for an interview.

I f you want to check our credentials please visit
www.101fm.asn.au then click onto Noah's Legacy Links & also Gallery to view some of the remarkable people who already participate in Noah's Legacy.

Sorry this is so long.

I remain, Yours truly
Patricia J. Alchin.

With all the recent worry over the recession and downturn, which jobs are still safe? Review this set of jobs outlined to remain secured for anyone.
According to the opinion of executive “Hello-VIP” group, jobs in informational technologies are among the fields expected to yield top jobs this year. Learn more about which jobs are expected to see the most growth, the highest starting salaries, and the best opportunities.

Technology Jobs

We were asked which technical skill sets are in the greatest demand in our IT departments. Our response? Administration, support, and management skills are golden:
1. Network administration (LAN, WAN)
2. Windows administration
3. Desktop support
4. Database management

Creative Careers

Looking for a job that challenges your creative side? Review starting salary ranges for some of the top creative jobs for 2009:
· Animation specialist: $55,000-$90,000
· Desktop publisher: $30,500-$40,000
· Graphic designer: $25,000-$45,000

And those are just starting salaries!

Freelancing is another way to keep your creative career in demand. The greatest benefits of using creative freelancers are: freelancers provide access to skills that didn't exist internally (34 % of executives said that) and freelancers help avoid overstaffing followed by layoffs (20 % of executives noted that). In this erratic economy, you may earn more by diversifying your skills into a range of different jobs.
In this inconsistent economy, popular jobs may see more competition. Hiring managers may expect applicants to be able to start on the first day with a strong set of skills.

Good luck!
